Missing teen, Sarah-Jane Broster contacted her mother on Monday, but has not yet been located.

Miss Broster lives in Whitfield and went missing on her 15th birthday on Sunday.

She was last seen in Cheriton in Folkestone at around 1pm.

She was wearing blue shorts, black leggings and a black top when she went missing.

A spokeswoman from Kent Police said: "She was reported missing on Sunday but has been in contact with her family since and is believed to be with people she knows.

"We are continuing to make enquiries."
