Friends and relatives of the murdered Michael Kerr took to Facebook on Sunday to mark what would have been his 31st birthday.
Mr Kerr’s body was discovered on April 10 last year in Satmar Lane, Capel.
Alicia Davis and Charlotte Coulson, who were both 22, have been found guilty of stabbing the Dover DJ to death. They are serving life-long prison sentences.
The former Harbour School student lived with his grandparents at King’s Ropewalk, Aycliffe.
Mr Kerr enjoyed DJing and the party scene in Dover, Deal and sometimes Folkestone.
Matt Grunsell, who was a former pupil at Archers Court, said: “Happy 31st birthday, I hope you caused havoc up there last night with your decks spinning and a bit of Tiesto thumping.
“It’s the only time of year you’d have a beer so I’ll be having a Stella with you later.
“Miss you my brother!”
Jamie Potter, who lives in Dover, said: “Happy birthday babe I know you’re partying up there.
“I always look up at the sky and see the brightest star and smile thinking it’s you looking down on everyone.
“Love you lots and always will.”
Jasmine Morley added: “Happy birthday mate, I bet you’re having a right old party up there celebrating your day.
“You should be proud of how your mum and your family are doing.
“[It’s] still a shock you’re not about anymore, I’ll make a visit to you this week. R.I.P birthday boy.”
Donna Carter-Leay concluded: “Happy birthday old school bud.
" I’m sure the heavens are loving you dropping them beats and rewinding them decks.
“I will be making sure I listen hard to all of you partying hard up there as the heavens rumble.
“Rest in peace babe. Until we meet again.”
