Martin Hayes says he hopes his flowing style of football will see the fans flocking back to Crabble next season.

Whites’ attendances did not rise as the club had hoped last season, despite their back-to-back promotions from Ryman League Division 1 South and Ryman League Premier Division into the Blue Square Bet South and on-field success at the new level.

However newly-appointed boss Hayes (pictured) said: "I like to have attacking sides which are creative and good to watch.

"Of course the result is the most important thing and it may be that on cold nights away from home that we have to change things and do it differently.

"My managerial style is probably made up of little bits of everyone I've worked under – George Graham from my time at Arsenal, Peter Taylor, whom I was with at Southend, he used to be ‘coach, coach, coach’ and also Frank Burrows when I was at Swansea.

"Hopefully the fans will enjoy the way we play here."
