Dover boss Nicky Forster wants his team to prove they are top-of-the-table material when they meet current league leaders Woking this weekend.

Woking arrive at Crabble on Saturday with just one league defeat to their name and they sit three points clear at the top of Blue Square Bet South.

Forster and his side are gunning for the top spot themselves and head into the game looking to put the defensive blunders from last weekend’s defeat at Boreham Wood behind them.

Forster (pictured) said: "It’s a good game for us and any footballer wants to win the league and to be pitting themselves against the top sides.

"They are a big, strong and powerful side. They are quick and it will be a good test for us to see how far we have come.

"It’s up to me to get my team prepared to perform the best we can and I am sure they will give the best account they can."

Woking are the leading scorers in the division and Forster hopes to have centre-back Olly Schulz back from illness for the game. Striker George Purcell could return after missing out last weekend through sickness.

Meanwhile, Dover have made goalkeeper Ross Kitteridge and midfielder Michael Corcoran have been made available for transfer.

Kitteridge signed for Dover on a free transfer from Bishop's Stortford in June, while former Northern Ireland under-21 international Corcoran moved to Crabble in the same month from Rushden and Diamonds.
