Dover have an outside chance of returning to the play-off places if they can win their next two games.
Whites host Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday before a trip to Maidenhead on Tuesday on the back of an FA Cup defeat to Bath City.
Forster (pictured) said: "We will lose games through the course of a long season. It is inevitable but it is about how you respond to that. This is our first opportunity to show how we will respond to a setback. If we can get two wins we have the chance to get right back with the pack."
He added: "We will regroup this week. We have a tough batch of fixtures coming up with Saturday-Tuesday fixtures for a while. It is tiring. We are always looking at the squad and whether we need to do anything – it is an ongoing process.
"We have got a good, competitve squad, one which many teams in our division would like to have and one which is capable of being above where we are now."
