Dover player/assistant manager Nicky Southall has hailed the signing of former Barnet midfielder Joe Tabiri.
Tabiri spent the latter part of last season on loan at Crabble during which time he made 11 appearances and scored a memorable strike against Eastleigh.
The 20-year-old has now signed a one-year deal with Whites and Southall (pictured) is excited at the prospect of seeing him in action next season.
He said: "Joe is still young but has got all the attributes and came to the fore with us at the end of last season.
"He got released by Barnet but knows the set-up at Dover well, enjoyed his time with us and was great in the dressing room as well.
"Ian Hendon knows all about him as well, so signing him was a no-brainer really."
Southall and boss Hendon spoke last week about other new players and are eyeing two wide players, both of whom played for Blue Square South rivals last season. Whites are also seeking another centre forward.
Hendon is waiting to hear from Matt Fish and Sammy Moore, who have both been offered new deals by the club.
