The pink carpet will be rolled out for a night of glitz and entertainment in aid of Breast Cancer Now.
Charity ambassador Kerry Banks and volunteer Jo Allen have organised a Pink Glitter Ball at Dover Town Hall on Saturday, October 12.
The charity bash starting at 6.30pm is the first of its kind in the area. Tickets are £35 each and include a welcome glass of pink fizz, a three-course meal with coffee plus entertainment.
Richard Esdale from Jig in the Box will play with songs from all the shows as part of a musical theatre theme before global DJ Bruno from Boombox UK takes overs until 12.30am.
Mrs Banks, who has been supporting the charity for 13 years raising almost £200,000, said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with such fabulous people to have our first Pink Glitter Ball in this area.
“This will be an evening of celebration and also to remember those affected or who have lost their lives to breast cancer.
“It’s an opportunity to get your glad rags out and come along and be involved with some fabulous fundraising while being entertained by some of the best in the business.”
There will also be games, a photo booth, a grand raffle and an auction.
Only 240 tickets are on sale with tables of 10 available to be booked.
The event has been sponsored by Your Leisure, Red Fortress IT Support & Services, Jig in the Box, Boombox and Barclays.
Thanks has been given to Chris Vidler and Anna Murray at The Lane for the gift of a glitterball.
Sponsorship packages are available from £150. To find out more or donate a raffle or auction prize contact Kerry on 07708913976.
