Passengers will soon find a refreshing change at Deal Railway Station with the opening of a new cafe.

Platform 1 will be in the main buildings on the London-bound platform and masterminding the project are Deal journalist Andy Stevens and his brother Nick Stevens, who runs his own travel, tourism and transport PR firm.

Early morning commuters on the fast trains can buy a cuppa for their journey, as well as the passengers at other times of the day.

It is hoped the business will be on track to open in the spring.
