Police release efit of man who robbed bookmakers at knifepoint in High Street, Deal

Police are hunting two men who robbed a bookmakers at knifepoint.

The duo forced their way into the locked building in High Street, Deal and threatened a female staff member with a blade.

They then fled with an unknown amount of cash. The woman was unhurt.

The first man is described as 6ft tall and of a slim build. He was wearing all black clothing, black gloves and had a black stocking over his head and spoke with fake Scottish accent.

The second man is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of a slim build. He had blue eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing black jogging bottoms, a black hooded top and black gloves.

Police have now released an e-fit image of a man wanted in connection with the raid, which happened at about 9.30am on Friday, August 28.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Adelsberg said: "Following several lines of enquiry, an e-fit has been produced of a man we would like to identify.

"If people recognise this man, I would urge them to get in contact.

"I would also like to renew the appeal for witnesses, if anyone was in the area at the time of the incident and hasn’t yet spoken to officers, please let us know."
