Dover's Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club is preparing for a Royal visit today.

Princess Anne will call in at the club in Waterloo Crescent, and may even be taken out on the water.

The Royal is patron of the Royal Yachting Association and will be accompanied by officials from the organisation.

Richard Hart is vice commodore of the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club. He confirmed she will visit today.

"We can't confirm what her movements will be."

It is believed she will be given a tour of the harbour aboard a survey boat.
