Questions about garden composting and recycling organic waste will be answered at a special day.
The district and county council have teamed up to lay on the session for those interested in a greener lifestyle.
The event at the Whitfield recycling site on Saturday, June 7, will also give residents the opportunity to purchase bags of 50-litre soil improver at specially reduced rates.
District council waste services officer Mandy Pile said: “The soil improver days are a big success year after year, and we are looking forward to a very busy day.
“It’s a great opportunity to buy back garden waste that is recycled and composted in Kent, a fantastic example of closed loop recycling.”
Each bag of soil improver will cost £2 (normally £2.50) or three bags for £5, with a maximum of six bags per vehicle.
