A 12-hour sponsored bounce is nothing in comparison to what two Deal sixth formers will be doing in October.
Megan Batson, 17, of Stockdale Gardens and Maggie Cador, 16, of Station Road are raising £2,000 each for a 16 day tour of India.
What has been described as the trip of a lifetime will not be full of luxuries.
It will, in fact, be quite the opposite.
The girls who go to Castle Community College, with nine others, are expected to contribute to the building of a school along with other schools who have signed up to the programme.
Megan said: “I feel like it is all about the experience and giving something back to change people’s lives.

“It will be completely different and eye-opening.
“You take things for granted and we would like to see their culture because we are going to be living like they do.”
The educational break will also include sight-seeing.
The students will be able to study the native wildlife and their surroundings.
Maggie said: “It will be an amazing experience and encourage us to do more charity work across different areas of the world.”
In a bid to raise funds, the girls will be bouncing on a trampoline at the school for half a day, rotated among both Megan, Maggie and their friend also called Megan.
It will start at 7am and finish at 7pm on Saturday, March 12.
They also run a tuck shop every Monday at the Mill Road site from 10.25am until 10.45am and some lunch times at the Salisbury Road site.
Donations can be given to the school, and cheques should be made payable to Castle Community College, with the sponsor name on the envelope.
