Recycling collections missed in Deal and Northbourne after rubbish truck breaks down

More than 30 Deal and Northbourne roads did not have their recycling collected on Monday.

The contractors employed by Dover District Council had a "technical problem" with one of its vehicles.

The collections will take place over today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Thursday), clearing paper, card and food.

It is possible that some mixed recycling collections will take place over the two days.
