Money raised by taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge has been presented to Walmer RNLI by Jenner Construction of Folkestone in memory of a former employee.
Lifeboat volunteers joined family members and employees from Jenner Construction at the station to accept a donation of £7050.
It was made in memory of John Collins, a former company employee, Walmer crew member and helmsman for more than 20 years.
The morning also saw the unveiling by Mr Collins' wife, Maria, of a weather station purchased with a previous donation from the company.
Lifeboat operations manager Denis Brophy said: "We are grateful for the continued support of the company.
"As a charity the RNLI relies on fundraising and contributions.
"Donations such as these are vital to enable us to continue our work saving lives at sea."
On returning from exercise on Sunday volunteers also accepted a donation of £100 made by family and friends in memory of local carer Kim Jeffrey.
