Sainsbury's staff and RNLI volunteers washed 126 cars today as part of a fundraiser.
The supermarket workers stepped away from the shelves and tills, today, to help at Walmer lifeboat station’s annual car wash.
After fantastic support from the local community at the past two years’ events, the crew volunteered to wash cars at the station again this year, from 10am to 3pm on Saturday.
They were supported by RNLI fundraisers, other station volunteers and staff from the supermarket in Deal.
Walmer lifeboat station is the West Street store’s charity of the year after being chosen by customers.
Motorists will be asked for a £7 donation for each vehicle washed.
Walmer lifeboat shop will be open during the event, and both Walmer’s boats will be available for people to view.
