An elderly man has been cut free from his car after he was involved in an accident in Sholden, near Deal.

The A258 is currently closed due to the crash.

Emergency services including fire and ambulance are at the scene.

The man, who is believed to be in his 80s, has been placed in the care of paramedics.

It is understood the road will be closed for the rest of the night.

Bus routes are reportedly diverting via Rotherfield and Bunny Lane.
