Nearly 100 runners will take part in the second annual Cliff Top Challenge in aid of Breast Cancer Now today (Sunday).
The charity event organised by mum-of-two Chantele Rashbrook and her husband Phil, will see 98 people run one of five different distances along to coast from Hastings to Deal.
Three brave runners have signed up to the mega 55-mile distance from Sherbarm Campsite in Hastings.
Others will start from Lympne Castle, Caple Le Fern Memorial, Dover seafront and Dover Patrol Memorial.
The finishing point will be on the promenade in Deal, opposite the King’s Head and Port Arms public houses, where activities will be held from noon.
Mrs Rashbrook, 44, said: “I just can’t wait! It’s going to be so much bigger than last year and so much hard work has gone into it, mainly by my dad. Fingers crossed for good weather.
“I hope to see lots of people here for what’s going to be a great day.”
There will be music from artists including Rozzy Turner from BBC talent show The Voice, Rock Choir, Andy ‘Bad’ Robinson and The New Notes.
As well as a raffle and tombola, a charity auction will take place with a chance to bid on numerous items including a full hospitality package and box for two people at Manchester United Football Club.
Everyone is encouraged to wear pink and there will be prizes for the best-dressed male and female.
Last year’s bash raised an incredible £14,000 for the charity, formerly known as Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
It is hoped that this year’s event will raise even more.
