Vishaul Singh's fine 68 was in vain after promotion-chasing Sandwich suffered a surprise nine-wicket thrashing at basement boys Folkestone in Kent Cricket League Division 1.
Sandwich batted first but, despite a seventh-wicket stand of 68 between Singh and Tom Chapman (28), they finished on 222-8 from 50 overs.
The home side then made a blistering start and rattled off 93 for the opening wicket before cruising to their victory target with more than a dozen overs to spare.
Sandwich 2nds continue to climb the Division 1 table after a 14-run win over Folkestone 2nds.
Sandwich were dismissed for 151 but three wickets for Daniel Evans and two apiece for Alan Amos, Connor Summers and Colin Aldred helped skittle the visitors for 137.

Clive Thurgate cracked 56 of the home side’s 179 all out before taking 3-26, while John Wickham added 3-28 as the visitors were dismissed for 158, losing their last three wickets for just five runs.
Greg Martin took 5-5 and Michael Jones fired 74 as Sandwich 4ths despatched 2C whipping boys Herne Bay 2nds by 161 runs.
The visitors declared on 214-8 before dismissing Bay for just 53.
