A spectacular Party on the Prom was held on Deal seafront on Wednesday as part of the town's carnival week.

The Deal Regatta Court were also there to show their support along with Miss European, the Scottish beauty Deone Robertson and Miss European finalist, Melanie McCrun as well as Miss European England finalists.

Deal Town Mayor, Cllr Marlene Burnham, said: “This is the real Deal, it’s gone so well that I just don’t know how much better it can actually get. The weather this year has been glorious, it’s been so lucky for them.

John Trickey, chairman the Deal, Walmer and Kingsdown Carnival and Regatta Association said: “As an organiser the carnival and party on the prom are my favourite two events of the whole week.

The evening included an RNLI and Coastguard display which took to the waters to wow the audiences on the beach followed by the bank buoy scramble and the fishing boat race.
