Green energy ideas galore were generated in Deal on Saturday at Deal With It’s Green Energy Fair.
Steve Wakeford, Deal With It co-ordinator, said “The event was a good example of our community coming together.
“We were very grateful for the volunteers from St Leonard’s Church who ran our refreshments, buskers from the Sunshine Ukes and Arkwrights as well as our own volunteers. A big thank you to all our exhibitors and those running the talk sessions”
Event organiser Guy Barritt said: “We had Paul Mallion’s from Conker Conservation, sessions on conservation for older properties, Stephanie Karpetas from Greenov and the district council’s Amanda Martin’s talking on the Green Deal and associated schemes.
“Eternal Energy’s Verity Van proved also to be popular with people who wanted to see some of the technology working. There was plenty of good practical advice on hand on how people could deal with rising fuel bills.”
