A lorry which was causing obstruction to early morning commuters in Deal has been moved.

Police were called at 6.36am regarding a lorry that had become stuck in Ranelagh Road.

Drivers were advised to use an alternative route until the road was cleared at 8.20am.

Police press officer Martin Very said: “A mechanic attended the scene and the road was clear by 8.20am."
