A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car overturned.

Police were alerted to the two car collision in St Richards Road in Walmer at 10.51pm on Thursday.

Officers and the ambulance service attended the scene.

A spokesman said: "A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

"She was later released pending further investigation."

A woman was also taken to a local hospital.
