Teen 'found carrying knife and sock filled with rocks charged' after disturbance in Walmer

A 16-year-old boy who allegedly carried a knife and a sock filled with rocks after a disturbance has been charged.

Police were called to Dover Road in Walmer, near Deal, at around 8.50pm on Saturday.

Officers attended the area and arrested the teenager, who cannot be named because of his age.

He was charged the next day with criminal damage of a vehicle, possession of two offensive weapons - a knife and a sock filled with rocks, one count of affray and burglary of a property in Dover Road.
