One of the most popular brocantes in Kent is returning to Walmer, Deal, for this year's August bank holiday Monday.
Organised by the parish council and held on the Green, hundreds of stalls are expected in what will be the first brocante since May 2019 because of Covid restrictions.
Cllr. Marguerite Beard-Gould, chairman of the WPC Events Committee, said: “ There will be hundreds of stalls with antiques, collectables and crafts this year and we look forward to welcoming back the thousands of visitors who have enjoyed the fair in recent years.”
Items on sale will include vintage clothing, furniture and homewares, musical and military memorabilia, toys, jewellery, and local arts and crafts.
The Brocante is now one of the largest such fairs in Kent and continues to delight both local residents and tourists,” said parish clerk, Richard Styles.
“From Bank Holiday browsers soaking up the atmosphere to serious buyers from all over the UK, the Brocante offers something for everyone.”
Most exhibitors retained carried over their pitches from last year but there are a few still available.to book.
