A therapist has topped up the value of any vouchers bought for key workers during lockdown as a gesture of thanks for their efforts.
Sarah McGahan has sold £300 worth of vouchers during the time her business, the Daisy Green The Holistic Shed in Deal, has been shut down.
She topped up every £10 spent to £15, giving away an extra £150 worth of treatments including Indian head massages, hot stone massages and facials.
It means as soon as the Government permit her to reopen her home studio in Gilford Road, she will get to work providing £450 worth of treatments to the likes of NHS staff and care workers.
She said: "For me, this was about being able to give something back not only to NHS workers but teachers, support workers, even the bin men if they choose.
"As a holistic therapist, my job is to help people relax and switch off.
"A lot of people wanted to buy them for key workers and some key workers bought them for themselves."
'This was about being able to give something back not only to NHS workers but teachers, support workers, even the bin men if they choose.'
The 46-year-old mum of two who has 13 years of experience had hoped she would be able to kickstart her business again on July 4.
She said: "I was devastated when I heard we couldn't. I've used lockdown to renovate my treatment room and paint inside and out.
"I have all my PPE ready and would love to get back to work now."
She will announce when she is able to reopen via her Facebook page - Daisy Green The Holistic Shed.
