Four men have been arrested after police were spotted in a Kent town this morning.

Officers were seen in Dover Road, Walmer, at about 7am in two police cars and a van.

The force has now confirmed the men were arrested in Deal, Sandwich and Ash as part of an investigation into alleged roofing fraud.

The investigation relates to suspected fraudulent activity connected to roofing work carried out at a property in Dover between October 2024 and February 2025.

The men have all since been bailed pending further enquiries and an investigation is ongoing.
