Many of the town’s young four-legged friends are being celebrated in a new calendar which will raise money for the Dogs Trust.
Puppies of Deal 2018 has been put together by Kathryn Reilly, of Deal-based Cat’s Pyjamas Publishing.
It follows on from Dogs of Deal, a book released in 2016 featuring 64 of the town’s best known furry friends. It raised £400 for Sandwich-based rescue charity Futures for Dogs.
The new calendar, released in time to be the perfect Christmas present, features 12 of the cutest pups around – guaranteed to melt the stoniest of hearts.
The dogs are posed in front of postcard scenes of Deal and Walmer old and new, and the calendar also features useful Deal dates, so that the carnival and braderie are firmly front of mind.
Its costs £8 and is available now from Mileage (146 High Street) and Dunlin & Diver (112 High Street), with some of the profits going to Dogs Trust.
The second volume of Dogs of Deal will be available in time for Christmas and will also raise funds for the Dogs Trust.
