A new colourful leaflet dubbed “the definitive guide to Deal” has been launched by the Deal Town Team.

The guide is full of up-to-date and useful information for visitors young and old who want to explore and get to know Deal better.

It includes a handy pull-out map that lists all shops, restaurants and businesses in the town, making it the town’s definitive guide.

Esme Chilton, who edited and produced the leaflet on behalf of the Town Team, said: “It’s been a lot of hard work to put the guide together and make sure that we have covered everything, as there is so much to do and see in our wonderful town.

“We wanted to make sure the map of shops and businesses was completely up to date, but with so many new businesses opening up and constantly evolving, it’s a challenge to keep track of them!

“I am very pleased with the guide and map – I love Deal and want to make sure that when people visit, they get to see why we think Deal is the best seaside town in England!”

The guide is free and can be picked up from the Visitor Information Centre at Deal Town Hall.

All shops and businesses in the town are being encouraged to go along to the town hall over the next few weeks to pick up a supply of the guide to put on display on their counters and information areas, so that visitors will feel welcomed and supported while exploring the delights of Deal.

Deal Town Team worked in partnership with Deal Town Council to produce the guide and map.
