FIRE chiefs are today investigating the cause of a fire in which four horses died.

The animals were trapped in a burning barn at Kittington Farm in Elvington, near Deal.

There were no other injuries in the fire, The blaze, which broke out just before 2am this morning, also affected a smaller building on the site. There were no other injuries.
