Nathan Mitford from Deal and Robbie Brannan from Walmer charged with GBH after early hour assault

Two men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after an attack in Queen Street in Deal.

Nathan Mitford, 34, of St James Close, Deal, and Robbie Brannan, 24, of Kirk Gardens, Walmer, were arrested after the incident which occurred around 2.30am on Sunday, July 3.

They have now been charged with causing GBH and will appear before Folkestone Magistrates Court on separate dates in January.

Police spokesman Martin Very said: “Nathan Mitford, 34, of St James Close, Deal, and Robbie Brannan, 24, of Kirk Gardens, Walmer, have been charged with causing GBH.

“Both have been bailed to appear before Folkestone Magistrates Court on 18 and 23 January, 2017 respectively.”
