An under-strength Deal Ladies’ side achieved an encouraging 1-1 draw at Blackheath in Kent League Division 2 on Saturday.

Deal took the lead at the start of the second half from a short corner routine which ended in a goal from Yvette Illsley.

The visitors clung on to their lead for most of the second half but Blackheath were able to equalise.

Deal have a home game against Ashford 2nds on Saturday.

Deal men’s 1sts drew 1-1 in a home game against Sevenoaks 3As in Kent Open Premier A on Saturday. They travel to Burnt Ash this weekend.
