A beauty salon in Deal has been vandalised for the second time in a year.
Vandals acting overnight smashed two front windows of Beautique, in Middle Street, opposite Deal Library.
The salon was subjected to a similar vandal attack in November 2015.
Chloe Pritchard, who owns the salon with her sister, Jade, posted on community Facebook page Deal Watch: “Unfortunately Beautique has had two windows smashed in last night.
“This isn’t the first time my salon has been subject to mindless vandalism.
“Police are aware and have confirmed there were multiple incidents in the town last night. If anyone knows anything please contact us on 01304 379638.
“Despite this we are open for business as usual.”
Police press officer Nicola Forman said: “We were called at 8.38am on Thursday, June 30 to a report that there had been a burglary at a store in Middle Street, Deal.”
There are reports of more criminal damage in the town overnight.
Claims are that a lamppost was pushed over and a bin set alight in Deal High Street.
Ms Forman added: "Police were called at 7.34pm on Wednesday, June 29 following reports of criminal damage in Deal High Street.
"Officers attended but no potential offenders were located.
"Inquiries are on going."
