Dover continued their march to a Blue Square South play-off place with a 1-0 victory over Welling on Easter Monday.
Nicky Southall's second-half goal proved to be the winner at Park View Road as Whites made it seven league wins in a row and ended their hosts' fading play-off hopes in the process.
It was a dominant if not spectacular performance by Dover, who were never really stretched defensively and, with better finishing, could have added to their tally.
"It was scrappy at times," admitted boss Andy Hessenthaler. "Welling made it very difficult for us, they worked hard and limited us on our chances."
Dover took the lead on 55 minutes when a Welling clearance went straight to Adam Birchall and he set up Southall (pictured), who drilled home from 15 yards beyond the dive of Welling keeper Charlie Mitten.
