Dover’s poor form continued with a 3-1 defeat at Weston in Blue Square South on Saturday.
Whites started the game the better side, but went a goal down after 19 minutes when Weston made a break and Jack Compton fired the ball under keeper Lee Hook.
The visitors were poor for the last 20 minutes of the first half and seven minutes after the restart found themselves two goals behind.
Dave Gilroy appeared to be offside when he ran thorough to beat Hook, but the linesman indicated that Matt Fish had played him on.
Gilroy lobbed Lee Hook for Weston’s third after 65 minutes to leave Whites with a mountain to climb.
Three minutes after the restart Nicky Southall (pictured) got on the end of a cross at the back post to slide in a goal for Whites but it was not enough to stop them suffering their fifth defeat in six games.
