It was an unusual cry for help to Port of Dover police.

A couple who had boarded a ferry that had just left Dover remembered something they'd forgotten - their mother!

The elderly woman was still in their car - parked in the multi-storey car park ahead of a day trip.

Police found the car and ensured the elderly woman was looked after until her relatives returned several hours later.
