Police have released an e-fit of a woman they want to trace after an attempted burglary.
A woman is reported to have knocked on the door of a home in Salisbury Road in Deal between 6pm and 6.40pm on Friday, August 3.
She claimed her car had broken down nearby and asked to use the telephone.
But during the conversation she was seen acting suspiciously and tried to gain access to the house.
One of the occupants said she would assist and come out to the car, but when she briefly closed the door to get changed the woman left.
She was seen walking away in the direction of Mill Hill via St Richard’s Road.
Officers have now released an e-fit of the woman who was described as being white, of slim build with tanned skinned and light brown hair.
Her hair was tied up in a ponytail with a centre parting.
She was wearing a denim skirt, yellow top and had a satchel over her shoulder.
