Betteshanger win Kent League go ahead

Betteshanger Cricket Club will be playing in the Shepherd Neame Kent League for the first time next summer.
After winning the Kent Feeder League title, Betteshanger’s Welfare Ground pitch and facilities have been passed as suitable for the Kent League following an inspection by a member of the KL committee.
Betteshanger captain Derek Towe said: "It’s got to be good for local cricket to have three teams - Sandwich, Walmer and ourselves - all playing in the Kent League next season."
