Dover boss Chris Kinnear is resigned to seeing more of his players team up with former coach Steve Brown at Ebbsfleet this summer.
Whites midfielder Daryl McMahon was sold to the Fleet for £13,000 on Wednesday and he was quickly joined at Stonebridge Road by striker Ben May.
Brown, who was unveiled as the Fleet’s new manager on Monday, is in talks with several players he worked with during his time as assistant manager and then first-team coach at Dover.
Striker Billy Bricknell and midfielder Dean Rance are both expected to follow Brown, McMahon and May to north Kent.
Kinnear said: "Steve Brown clearly covets a lot of our players. That’s up to him. He had them before we got there and they’d lost nine league games and got knocked out of the cups early.
"Now he’s gone to Ebbsfleet, where money is no object. One of the things he wants to spend that money on is Dover players. That’s up to him.
"I only want people at Dover who want to be here. Gone are the days when Dover will pay more than anybody else.
"I’m not going to make people stay if they want to go."
