Dover play the first of three Skrill South games in less than a week when then travel to Havant & Waterlooville on Thursday, but boss Chris Kinnear does not mind that the games coming thick and fast.

Dover are on a roll after winning four and drawing one of their past five games. They are unbeaten since February 22 and that run of impressive form has seen the Whites grab the fifth-place play-off berth with 11 games to go.

Kinnear’s side moved fifth after a last-gasp 2-1 win at Maidenhead on Saturday but he has no fear of a busy schedule taking its toll on his players.

He said: “We are in a terrific frame of mind as a result of our good run and want to keep that momentum going.

“Playing three games in such a short time will help us do that, the players want to keep playing.

“Saying that, I am sure it would have been different had we been losing – it would have been difficult to get them (his players) up then.”

Defender Sean Raggett has missed the past two games with a knee injury and won’t feature against Havant.

Kinnear said it might be a while before he does again. He added: “He’s due to have a scan on it so all we can do is wait and see what the outcome is.”

Dover are at home against seventh-placed Eastbourne Borough on Saturday before playing host to Farnborough on Tuesday night.
