YOUNG Kent judo ace Bradley Love won a silver medal in the Antwerp Open at the weekend.

Thirteen-year-old Bradley, from Deal, was competing for Great Britain in the Under-15 category and powered past opponents from Holland, France, Belgium and Bulgaria to reach the final, where his opponent was another Dutchman.

Bradley instigated an ouchi gari throw, with both players going to the floor. But, to Bradley’s dismay, the decision was given to his opponent.

Bradley’s next competition will be the North West Age Band event in Liverpool on February 2.
