Deal Town's Kent League season is up and running after their first win last weekend.

Goals from Aaron Robinson and Jack Collins gave Derek Hares’ side a 2-1 home victory over Slade Green.

On Saturday Deal travel to Greatness Park to meet a Sevenoaks side they beat three times last season.

Hares said: “I think we deserved to beat Slade Green, and now we’ve got to build on that.”

Hares will be without former Ramsgate centre-half Liam Morris, who damaged his ankle ligaments after just five minutes of his debut on Saturdey, while Darren Waring is 50/50 because of a twisted ankle. Adam Govey and Gary Beedon will both be available, however, after they attended a wedding last Saturday.

Deal are away to Herne Bay in a rearranged league game next Wednesday.
