Chris Kinnear continued building his Dover squad this week by securing winger Ricky Modeste on a new contract at Crabble.
The 25-year-old joined from Chelmsford last summer and has agreed to extend his Whites career into a second season.
Kinnear said: “He’s done well for us. He works hard and that’s what we want from our players.
“There will be trialists (in pre-season) and we’ve just got to keep talking to lots of different players.”
Dover have now lost four of last season’s squad to Ebbsfleet United after Shane Huke completed his move to Stonebridge Road on Monday.
Meanwhile, defender Tyrone Sterling is stepping up to play Conference Premier football next season after signing for Dartford.
But Kinnear remains confident in his ability to attract quality players to Dover this summer.
He said: “It’s a professional club and we’re not going to be cutting wages like a lot of clubs. The club is stable and we look after players.
“We’ve got the best average attendances (in Conference South, after play-off winners Salisbury), so it’s obviously the best club to be at.”
