Dover midfielder Lloyd Harrington has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a ruptured anterior cruciate knee ligament.
The 19-year-midfielder had to be carried off in the 2-1 win over Ebbsfleet last month and scans have now confirmed the serious nature of the injury.
Whites manager Chris Kinnear said: “It’s a big blow for Lloyd and it’s a big blow for the team because he had started the season so well, but he’s only 19 and can come back from it.
"He will have the operation and will then have to get his head down and work hard to get fit again.”
