Boss Derek Hares is setting his sights on another unbeaten run for his Deal side.
The fifth-placed Hoops lost 3-0 at Fisher in the Southern Counties East Premier Division on Saturday, which ended their 10-match run without defeat.
Deal had won nine on the spin before they drew 2-2 at Bearsted last Tuesday and then went down at Fisher.
They will be looking to return to winning ways this Saturday when they host strugglers Welling Town who are 16th.
Hares said: “We knew it (the unbeaten run) would end sometime.
“We never take anything for granted in this league because they are all decent sides but Welling have not had the best of starts.
“Looking at their results this season, it’s a game we will look to win but we still have to go out and win it.
“Every team has their ups and downs. We have to make sure, when we have a down, that it doesn’t last too long.
“If we can get a win this Saturday, we can, hopefully, start another run.
“We have five home games on the trot now, as well, so we need to take advantage of that.”
Hares, who was without some key personnel, had no complaints after his high-flying team’s loss at Fisher.
Lee Weemes struck early on for Fisher, before Christian Udo and Isaac Thompson netted after the restart.
“It was a disappointing result, especially after the run we have been on,” Hares conceded.
“But I cannot really complain too much. We didn’t deserve to win on Saturday.
“I thought, on the day, they were the better side but we have got to bounce back now.
“We did have a few players missing, which didn’t help our cause.
"But there is no excuse, really."
Midfielders Ben Chapman (away) and Billy Munday (knee) and full-back Jack Paxman (away) all missed out at Fisher, while Tom Chapman came off the bench but then had to be substituted himself as he continues to struggle with a foot problem he sustained against Bearsted.
All four could feature against Welling.
