Karen Stupples returns home next week for her first appearances of the year in Europe boosted by another good performance on the US Women’s golf tour.
The Deal 35-year-old, who will be competing in the Evian Masters in France from July 24-27, finished tied for 13th place in the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic in Sylvania, Ohio.
Stupples recorded a four-round six-under-par total of 278 to finish 10 shots behind the winner, American Paula Creamer.
It won her $19,409 to lift Stupples’ winnings for the season to $484,826, and she stands as the top Briton on the US money list in 14th place.
After her appearance in France, Stupples will be competing in the Women’s British Open at Sunningdale (starting July 31) - the same course where she won the British title in 2004.
