DEAL Town are hoping to be able to name their new manager in the next few days.
Chairman-elect David Saunders and his committee planned to arrange interviews this week with their two main targets, reserve team manager Derek Hares and former Deal player Mark Seager.
Saunders said: “We are going to have to make a very difficult decision because I am sure that either of the men we are interested in could do the job perfectly adequately.”
The Deal committee know that they must come to a decision quickly in order to prevent players drifting away to other clubs while the managerial situation at the Charles Ground remains in a state of limbo, following Simon Bryant’s departure to Herne Bay.
