Dover will be without two of their key players for Saturday’s FA Trophy third-round clash with Eastleigh.
Having accumulated five bookings, defender Sean Raggett and midfielder Chris Kinnear Jnr will both miss the tie through suspension.
The pair were due to serve their bans against Sutton in midweek but the game was postponed, with the Crabble pitch waterlogged.
And their absence means knocking out the big-spending Spitfires on their own patch is now an even bigger ask.
Dover boss Chris Kinnear said: “The problem we’ve got is that Chris and Sean are out and the way they’ve been playing, the two of them are probably the biggest losses we could have
had.
“We’re not going there not to win but it will be more difficult with those two out. They’re only young lads but they’ve played well for us.
“But that’s part of having a squad and the lads I have got (available) are up for it. We’re not going there feeling sorry for ourselves and we’ll give it a go.”
