Dover Athletic bowed out of the FA Trophy third round on Saturday, losing 3-2 at Eastleigh after the home side snatched an injury-time winner.
Chris Kinnear's side, who had played for nearly an hour with 10 men following the sending off of striker Nathan Elder, looked to have earned a replay only for Jamie Collins to strike in the dying seconds for the home side.
Elder received a straight red card after putting his head into Collins's chest at which point the score was 1-1, with Michael Kamara's 33rd-minute header having cancelled out Jai Reason's first-minute opener for the Hampshire outfit.
And Dover took the lead 10 minutes into the second half through a Barry Cogan penalty after Liam Bellamy had been sent tumbling in the box.
That provoked a response from Eastleigh, who carved out several chances before equalising through Ben Strevens 10 minutes from time.
And then, with Whites' travelling support looking forward to a Crabble replay, Collins popped up with his late winner to send Eastleigh into the quarter-finals.
