A four poster bed and a night under the stars awaits visitors to Kent's 900-year-old castle.

Leeds Castle's Knight's Glamping village has opened for the season from April to September.

Themed in a stylish, medieval design, the eight traditionally coloured striped glamping pavilions are located behind the castle’s yew-tree maze, on the site of the castle’s former vineyard.

Glampers get free access to the castle’s attractions as well as panoramic views of the surrounding Kentish countryside.

All stays include the luxury of a four poster bed with crisp cotton bedding, snug furry throws and a wood burning stove. But the real luxury is not having to bring any special camping kit – just food for your evening feast.

Gather around the outdoor firepits and grill your goodies on the built-in BBQs. Guests can also use the shower and washing facilities at the nearby Knight’s Cottage, a short stroll away.

You can even order a breakfast hamper for the morning.

While staying at the castle, try the latest new attractions, including the new Adventure Golf, or tackle the maze, see a falconry display or bask in summer sunshine on a relaxing punting trip on the moat.
