DETECTIVES are appealing for information to identify an a thief who broke into a house in Sandwich Road, Whitfield, near Dover, and stole an antique 18th century clock.

The burglary happened at some time between 10am and 4.45pm on Wednesday, February 21.

The make of the clock is unknown but it is a valuable wall clock with a metal face

Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen the clock for sale.
